What This Keyword List Tells Us

💡 There’s more to the chess merchandise market than just t-shirts.
This list confirms that people are searching for all kinds of chess-themed gifts—hoodies, sweaters, mugs, socks, pens, cufflinks, and more. That means there are multiple angles I could take with my affiliate content.

💡 There’s clear demand for chess gifts.
Many of these searches include “chess gifts for…” followed by men, kids, dads, boyfriends, women, and even 10-year-olds. This confirms my previous research that gift buyers are a major part of this market.

💡 Some buyers care about price, while others want premium options.
Seeing “cheap chess gifts” alongside “luxury chess gifts” tells me that different customer types exist. Some are looking for affordable items, while others want something premium and high-quality. This is critical because misunderstanding the buyer’s intent leads to mismatched marketing—and no sales.

💡 There are some unique angles to explore.
The keyword “What to buy someone that loves chess?” confirms that non-chess players are looking for gift ideas. This strengthens the idea of creating content that helps non-players pick the right gift for chess lovers.

Another interesting find? “What is the dress code for chess?”
This makes me wonder if there’s an opportunity to talk about what chess players actually wear—maybe even tie chess t-shirts into that discussion.

Simple Tip: How I Collected These Keywords Quickly

💡 If you want to do this yourself, here’s a simple way to speed up the process:

👉 Keep two windows open side by side:
1️⃣ Google Search on one side
2️⃣ Word/Notepad on the other

Start with your main keyword idea, then watch autocomplete, People Also Ask, and People Also Search For to find new ideas. Every time something interesting pops up, add it to your list.

This method is fast, free, and incredibly effective.

The Most Important Takeaway

When researching a market or niche, you’ll always find multiple angles, different customer needs, and new opportunities.

At this stage, don’t get overwhelmed trying to make everything work—you only need ONE successful angle to start with.

👉 One good angle = first sales = proof that affiliate marketing works.

Once you get traction, you can explore other angles and expand later.
